Bigger Daisy
Bigger Daisy is the second iteration of this series. Bigger Daisy seamlessly merges the imaginative world of cartoons with an industrial-inspired floral design. Through the clever incorporation of convex mirrors, the piece instills a sense of childlike wonder in its audience. Moreover, it subtly delves into themes such as surveillance and the innocence of childhood, encouraging viewers to introspect on their own perceptions of the world that envelops them.
Bigger Daisy was exhibited in Burlington Ontario from April to June of 2023.
The work was awarded the Audience Choice Award.
